Thanks guys for the complements. Well the story goes I was up in a tree stand this morning hoping I can make it through the morning hunt without it raining on me well I had a few doe’s come out and a small spike. I watched them for a while an all of a sudden I see about 3 doe's look to the right of me and then I saw antlers and a huge body emerge out of the woods. Of course my heart went nuts! He was about 15 to 20 yards from me but I could not get a shot because of all of the deer around and I could not draw back without being seen. I am glad I could not get a shot right off the bat because I had to calm down. He finally turned broadside about 20 yards and I had a chance without being seen and I did. I was trying to be as quit as possible but I think he heard me and he looked my direction but I don’t think he knew where I was so then he got comfortable again and then I took him. Double lunged him and he ran about 40 to 50 yard. Was a freaken awesome hunt. Thanks again guys
