Sept. 27. Depending on the wind, I'll either be right off the corner of a bean field . . . or in the burbs :deer:

Oct. 1 as okbowhunter previously mentioned... I'll be at the hidden pond in the middle of the oaks baby! Hopefully, I'll have a big bull down before that ;)

I am pretty sure that I don't have a mad card. I keep my "man" card in my wallet though so I don't loose it. I do see though that hanging out with Tony could definetly be costing me points on my card!

That sucks. I am sure that you can find some public land not to far from your place. I am working on a few spots now not far from you. I will keep you posted! Do you hunt IL or WI or both?

I mostly hunt family land in AL... I'm gonna talk to my BIL's dad and see if I can hunt some of his land down in central IL near peoria, but, that's only a maybe... I haven't spent much time searching out land in IL in this area so I can't comment on whether or not I'll even be able to take a stab at it this year...

Probably in a good doe stand, sweating the old kahonies off and inhaling Thermacell fumes.:d Hopefully she won't go far and I can have her dressed before the mosquitoes from hell show up. Thank God for Thermacell in Louisiana.

September 15th here... I have a couple ideas but still looking for the best opportunity as far as stand placement. Getting some ok trail cam pics but could use more of better deer in areas that have had them in the past. Just trying to figure that out.

Opener here in PA is Oct 4th. Rob already stated this, but I'll add that I don't usually get out until atleast late Oct. I like when it starts to cool down a little.
