In the market for a new climber. Summit Open Shot, $236.99 14 lbs.; or Lone Wolf Alpha Climber, $369.00 15 lbs. $133.00 difference for basically the same stand, I don't see it. What are some other climbers you guys use. Must be lightweight, tired of packing my ancient cougar claw @30 lbs.
Alarm's going off at 5 a.m for me to catch a flight to antelope country, so I don't have time to go into all the details before I need to hit the sack... someone else will come along and do that (actually, plenty of others). I'll say this though... I hunted out of Summits for over a decade. Was on their Pro Staff. Been to the factory and had a personal tour of the operation, know the founding family. Great people, by the way. But I hunt out of a Lone Wolf Alpha hand climber.
I've used the LW hand climber and I own a summit open shot. The LW is nice... but not $100 nicer. (in my not so humble opinion.)
I rock the summit OS and love...I would like the LW but truth be told im POOR so wont pay the extra cash.
