quote: I have no idea why people think it is wrong to hunt near a property line. It is your land and if you are willing to take the chance that the deer you shoot ends up on someone else's land go for it. I cant imagine someone wanting to keep a deer they didn't shoot in that scenario. I know it happens, but you have to be an idiot to do something like that. Let then retrieve the deer and be don't with it. yeah but people can be aholes for no reason.. how i lost my deer last week. and that was a non hunter..im up by milwaukee
Would you like to have neighbors put stands right on the fence? Do you think they might be tempted to shoot the biggest buck they have ever seen on the wrong side of the fence? Would you like them to sit there and bang away with plastic antlers and blow on a grunt tube like a flugelhorn all day while they smoke? Do you want them tracking their deer all through your property on the only weekend you may have to hunt during the rut? I could go on and on. I have seen it all. Those are just a few reasons why I think its wrong to sit on a property line. Its a respect thing. I don't do it to others, and I am disappointed when someone does it to me.
I've had cameras that would not write to the SD card for one reason or another. Make sure it has either a new card in it or take the time to reformat it before using it next time. Then again I think I did read you say that you walking in front of it caused it to take pictures. Will be interesting to hear what your hidden camera has to say.
I would do this. There are ways to retrieve those possibly deleted pics and than you'll know. If your time and date are correct it should be obvious what's going on. I'm not sure of the process but it's been talked about on here before and I'm sure someone can help you or Google can.
Guess this needs to be said... With all the commotion going on in that area, deer are probably starting to avoid the area... Just hunt it, and see what happens.
So tell me Fletch, what distance from the property line makes it ok in your eyes? 20 yards? 30 yards? 50 yards? If someone has a stand near a property line I just dont hunt near there. I have never had an issue with someone doing any of those things you mentioned but if they were 50 yards from the fence would that make it any better? I have no issue with someone retrieving a deer on my property unless it is opening morning of gun deer season. I would probably help them track it. The bottom line is it is his land and he should be able to hunt where ever he wants. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
Dont jump to conclusions yet. it could be ur camera not responding as good as before or the sd card is bad.
