I can speak for myself when I say I have had a rocky season guys Nov was definitely my month to tag out buck wize but I'm well past it. Now I've been hunting here an there the last few weeks but I'm just not seeing the deer at the spots I've been going but that comes with the territory. I will be going back to the Ridge this weekend to see what happens. That has been the best spot for me this year minus lost deer so I may take a buck given the opportunity may not due to the quality of deer I've shot there already. Maybe that 11 point on Nov 2nd made it maybe not and with work and everything else my new son etc I hadn't been back out there. So tomorrow after work I'm gonna slide in there setup a camera up and look forward to a good pull through the late season. The way I hit the big 6 buck on Nov 8th I seriously doubt he survived that but I didn't find him and I haven't the slightest clue where he expired either. The adjacent property is ginormous with a 200 - 300 feet drop off that borders it then opens into a field that runs parrellel with the river and that's where he ran im sure but never found. With that said I'm just meat hunting now I had my shot a two trophy whitetail and blew it so now I'm focused
On shot placement recovering a deer and meat for the freezer. That is my December goal.

Jeff she had a yearling with her took off at a dead sprint through the woods and made it around 100 yards or so. Had pretty good blood, never found the arrow it might be in the food plot.

Hung the stand 2 weeks ago, only the 2nd time I'd hunted it this season.

I have a few bucks using the area and I will say without a doubt that this is a good rut period because this area is just proof that there are still some great deer running the woods despite the mishaps. So I still have plenty deer using the area does and bucks equal. This gives me some hope for the late season. None of these deer I have photos of til this past week. Lots of potential here. That last pic is an 8 point I've never seen but he is an awesome deer that I will be tryna keep tabs on even if I don't get a Crack at him just gonna call him Boss 8 because he looks mature but 1 more year and he will definitely be a true legend. Got faith in him. [IMG]

The smaller buck will definitely get a pass and it looks like the second buck only has one eye now so I'm gonna call him Willie I'll know both these bucks if I see them again
