Had a buck at 15 yrds around 7 am but it was too dark to see what buck it was. He walked another 50 yrds to get his picture taken so I'm going to find out.

Seen deer every sit just at really odd times. I hadn't been in the stand for 5 minutes this morning and that buck walked in... Atleast I didn't bump him - been in super stealth mode this year!!

Woulda passed him but woulda been cool to see!

Didn't make it out, haven't been getting much sleep with the new pup. I'm thinking of going this afternoon. I'll be out Sunday afternoon for sure, and thinking of doing a Monday morning hunt

Got It done at the food plot tonight fellas!!! Went in at about 6:00 this evening and the deer hit the field around 7:20 or so about an hr. sit and the deer were coming in to feed just as I had anticipated. It was pretty text book but the shot was high and I caught spine and the top of the lung at about 15yds. and the rest is history the deer came out at about 60 yds from another section on the plot and headed straight for the beans that are not there they have been tilled in so either there digging for the remaining pods or something but thats where they went first. I then put my all in one call to my mouth with light fading fast and let out a fawn call and to my surprise the doe I shot and another mature doe headed right to me and fast. They then smelled some corn that I had threw down and began to feed on that by the it was 730 or so and almost dark. So I waited for an opportunity to draw did so an she then was broadside she must have ducked because the arrow hit high an caught spine and she dropped right there. No track job just a dead doe. It was a gud night all an all an im blessed to have gotten a shot off plus recovered this deer. [IMG]
