Thought I would share a few photos from last year. 1st is from one of my tree stands on a perfect morning in late October, and an evening view from the same stand, next is another stand location and finally one of the bucks I harvested but that the coyotes got the benefit of.

That picture posting didn't go as planned. I think I need a little more practice.

Who do you drive for? I work in the transportation industry for a company called Hub Group. We're primarily intermodal so our Hub Group Trucking is mostly dray work.

I love the sight, sounds, and smell in the deer woods after a solid rain storm. Plenty of fresh doe and fawn tracks around, and maybe a few buck tracks as well. Kicked a doe up 25 yards from my camera. I forgot my keys so I couldn't move my camera. Pictures showed some does, a smaller 8 point, and a guy walking the trail up the hillside.

I had walked further down the hill (probably a 20-25 min walk from the truck, and all the hills came together and created a nice lowland/valley from all the hills next to the river. I found a ladder stand and a trail camera, which I left alone in hopes they will do the same when they come across my stuff. I walked past this stand, but came across a creek drainage that comes off all the hills and dumps into the river. I didn't have my rubber boots so I turned around at that point. I'll post some pics in a minute. If I can find a place to easily get a kayak in, this would be a solid place to pull it into.

My neighbor has an inflatable kayak that he said I can borrow. This should be okay to carry my bow, backpack, and treestand. I think. I'll have to take a look at it.

The leaves are dropping and corn is turning brown. We're getting there!

Did I mess up! I formatted my sd cards. I didn't realize that it wipes them totally clean so now they won't hold pictures. I changed the cards yesterday so I went back today to put new cards in. I guess I didn't format them all.[IMG]

Kyle I couldn't agree with you more. I love the woods too.

I remember one time in my tree stand when all of a sudden I felt awesome. I think it was the smells and the color of the woods. I am truly a child of the forest!

Jeff, you have an awesome attitude! We can do this!

I've sent the two guys that haven't check in yet PM's and an email and they haven't responded, I guess they will be replaced tomorrow. Too bad.
