    Holy cow, Trevor! That's ridiculously fast:tu: Congrats, man! There's NO way I would be passing a buck like that on the first day, either. Sounds like your shot was very similar to my shot on my buck last year.

    Awesome buck. Couldn't ever be disappointed with a one day season taking a buck like that, but it makes me appreciate Illinois' two buck limit.

    Just out of curiosity, how would one get that mounted since the velvet is already starting to peel? Can they actually repair the velvet or will they have to peel it and stain the antlers? Illinois season starts late enough to where velvet is nearly out of the question so never really thought about it.
