I could have gone through a whole pad of One D Ten T forms this morning. First of all it got up to 55 here yesterday and we had a lot of melting. Last night in the 20's means re-freezing. This morning's roads were icy in multiple places between my house and Des Moines. The first form would have gone to the guy who passed me doing at least 20 over the speed limit in a no passing zone. The combination ice n curve was too much for him and he went off in the ditch. I stopped and asked if he was okay and he said he was so I gave him my best Red Foreman line and drove off leaving him there. No more than 5 minutes later, another guy in a little Toyota with loud exhaust decided to pass a car up ahead of me in another no passing zone and once he got even with the car he was passing a county road plow popped over the hill coming straight at him. He ended up in some guys yard. Finally, as I eased up to an icy 4 way stop with cars already stopped on the crossing street, I noticed in the rear view mirror a female approaching way too fast. She hit her horn as she came sliding towards me. The cars on the crossing street were creeping through the intersection and I had no where to go. She slid up next to me in someone's yard and started screaming at me. She said since I didn't get out of her way, she almost got hurt. I yelled back at her that she was driving way too fast for the icy conditions and I was not going to T Bone someone else putting me at fault for anyone. Her response was "How was I supposed to know it was icy?" Next chance that came along, I got off the main roads and drove the rest of the way to school on secondary streets.
Are you sure you weren't in a southern state today? Lol. Wasn't super icy this morning while driving to Knoxville but then again my semi handles chappy roads decently. Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
I used to have copies of the form. Was pretty darn funny. Gonna have to check my previous computers and see if I can find it.
