LOL, this actually did not bother me at all. I still find in humorous and if I was ever in Bama's house, I'd give them the same salute
If I was coaching a student/athlete that did that, he would be sitting the bench after running his legs off. But, we all know that most of these guys are not students. They just theeir to play football and make the skool lots of cash! Might as well pay them to play college ball. That's about as good as it will ever get for the majority of them anyway.
I would have been pretty pissed if I was him as well. UM instigated a fight with the smallest kid on OSU's roster Dontre Wilson and Marcus Hall defended his teammate. That's the kind of guy you want for a teammate, not a turn tail coward. I would get that on a fathead if I could. Brawls happen when there is bad blood. Some people want to try to discount the Bucks win against UM because they didn't have a great season... Any win against them is a good win... 1 point or 20 it doesn't matter. You play harder when you have that kind of adrenalin running through you. Nothing better than rivalry football. I would take that one point win over a blowout anyhow. Man it was great to watch.
And the system of collegiate football will do no better for him. Those kids are a commodity. Like I said, might as well pay them to play. For many, the education that they wont get is worthless. I had a nephew that had football scholarship opportunities and ended up turning them down. He decided, as much as he loved being a stud in HS, it just was not worth the time and punishment to continue. He would rather pay for school and graduate with a solid degree, but more importantly, a body that will function for many years to come. I think that the kids that make the sacrifice of time and body should get paid. Lord knows that the school makes a ton of money off of them.
That's rich,lol What is Urban going to do when Michigan Actually gets some talent? He can barley beat one of the worst Michigan teams of all times offensively. What about Luke? Is he gone next year?
