Once a spike

    Not always a spike. Always loved that wives tale from the old timers growing up.

    Got pics of this spike last year with a distinct rip in his ear. I was hoping he would stick around to see what he turned into. Not bad for a 2 year old in our area. Hopefully he can make it a couple more years and really see what he can turn into.

    Yep Dan especially in the northwoods with the old timers they would always say shoot him he will stay a spike.
    I do believe nutrition has a lot to do with this from year to year.
    Cool beans man!

    I wouldn't be surprised at all if some people did still believe it.
