I don't think you stolen him, I pretty sure Michigan lost Hand to you guys. I don't blame the kid at all.

Whats his name. I went on tide fans but couldn't find anything. Please tell me it's basketball, although I'm not sure how smart a guy would be to come here over y'all in b-ball.

Just saw it. I knew we got the commit but since everyone was after him it took me a second. I thought he would be a lock for you, tOSU, LSU étc...maybe now we can start getting a pass rush without using the backers to do it.

I think of him the way I thought of OJ Howard last year. He can ball on the D-1 level right now. I guess we will see. A lot of time for ole miss to buy him away like larimy tunsil last year.

i know y'all love to hear me cry about someone outbidding us!

Honestly, why not play the hot hand at this point. The fact Michigan was in the running was a smokescreen probably. Already having that kid from Jersey commit would give him competition as big man on campus plus that still wouldn't put them over the top to take a seat at the top of the BCS. It's like trying to decide between hunting the rut in Iowa or New Jersey, no comparison. With Alabama he will get national exposure, big time competition and when the time is right, a meal ticket punched to the NFL. Alabama has 33 players drafted since 2009, Michigan 12. Don't feel bad the kid made a good economic decision for himself.

    Sorry Germ, Bama outbid you.

Bama is currently raiding one corner of LA at the moment (3 top 100 players in this area). All the talk about handlers and just pure shady crap going on in that area. Ugh. I know everyone does it (including LSU), it just seems that Bama does it more and better than everyone else apparently.

I like the fact you put better in there, as Reggie Bush and USC proved, these top end guys are getting PAID...but if you watch any of those 30 in 30's they always have. Eric ****erson got a gold trans am the day after he signed...looked nice in front of the single wide he grew up in, more room too!!!

Yeah, I'm not naive enough to not think that all the top programs are doing. I would never want the NCAA looking into how LSU got Patrick Peterson or Dwayne Bowe or anybody out of Florida

Hand lives in my county in VA. From all his statements and such, he is a well grounded kid. His work ethic is exceptional.
