Curling.....yep, for sure it has to be curling. I'm kind of partial to Russian curling.........just seems to be a little more action.
Snowboarding. Missed most of it of course lol. Anything I see USA in is fun though...for the most part
I think I want to try downhill skiing ..... could be the end of me though.... may need a go pro to capture that rodeo. Soooo Fassssst-------> Swoooshhh!!!
The women are snowboarding in "cross" ... like a snowboarding version of a motocross race. How cool is that!
Viewership is down 25% from the Vancouver games. Seeks like I'm not the only one who doesn't watch. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I'm watching it more this year than any in the past. Not sure if it's the lack of winter projects to keep me busy (a first in a long while), or the fact that I like watching the train wreck of an operation that is the Sochi Olympic planning committee. I've never seen such an ill prepared event with such a large budget and ample amounts of time for preparation. That and the only other majors sports right now being televised, basketball and hockey, are completely irrelevant in the grand scheme of sports to me :D Oh except the relatively cool national anthem last night by Gary Clark, Jr (wonder if he always leaves his hat on during national anthems)?
I'm with ya Matt, for some reason I find myself constantly searching the guide for when events are on, I usually could care less, but I think it's because we have a solid 2 feet of snow on the ground and I cant do a dam thing outside. I found myself watching ice dancing last night....
I don't remember an Olympics with this many hot chicks competing. My wife even said something about it. Snow bunnies all over the place.
These guys are doing the skiing jump and getting insane air, ... way cool. Felt for Bode on last nights events after the reporter pushed to far with I'll timed line of questioning but he said in an interview today there is no hard feelings. That dude is a real class act. I was hoping for gold but he got bronze..still awesome.
