Actually, thats exactly what bragging is. Otherwise, it would be lying. And "aint"? What are you, southern?
Dizzy Dean played a “game” not a sport. More importantly, I am one to reuse well stated and poignant quotes that fit the situation regardless if they are attributed to guys that play “games”. But I do loves "sports" like bowhunting so you can finally say you got one right.
Of all people, I would think you would be one to realize calling bowhunting a "sport" is quite ridiculous. Sports lover.
Bowhunting is perhaps the most perfect sport and quite "sporting". Things "played" with a ball or puck are games. I’m not sure how you could get this so wrong short of an obvious intellectual disability.
Those guys are so inconsiderate... They don't even use turn signals, are always cutting each other off and tailgating. Its like driving in Atlanta.
I'm going to buy you a dictionary. [h=2]sport[/h] noun - an athletic activity requiring skill or physical prowess and often of a competitive nature Hunting... Athletic activity: no Requiring skill: sure Physical prowess: no Competitive: while some try to make it that way, no Don't worry RC, its a hobby of mine to help less intelligent individuals. You don't have to thank me. I'm just doing my job.
I would not want you to purchase a dictionary for me based on your current failings in comprehension. Allow me to continue educating you. (frankly I should be sending the public education system that failed you a bill for my services) You mistakenly supplied only the “noun” definition when you should have more correctly included the adjective. (I’m really surprised your teachers didn’t cover this with you.) Sport NOUN: “Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs…………An active pastime; recreation.” Yes, that is bowhunting. ADJECTIVE: or sports of, relating to, or appropriate for sports: sport fishing; sports equipment. Designed or appropriate for outdoor or informal wear: a sport shirt. Now here is how I can apply the word to my interactions with you. Mockery; jest: He made sport of Vito’s lack of intellect. An object of mockery; See Vito A joking mood or attitude; Rancid makes a sport of dropping Vito on his head in the virtual world. Dragging a rube into a verbal exchange for the purpose of upsetting him (see Rancid mistreating Vito). Used to draw numerous animated and excited replies from Vito simply for the sport of it. Class dismissed.
RC reminds me of the kid growing up who made straight C's, then ripped his tests up to brag to all the classmates about how smart he is. You have got to be the most dry, boring individual on earth to be around.
I am PUMPED for the Olympics! I actually have a friend of mine who is competing in the Discus throw so hopefully I will get a chance to see him throw. I also want to try and catch some of the archery as well
Would this be a good time to remind you that its considered improper and a shows a lack grammatical intellect to end a sentence with a preposition??? In fact, that entire sentence was an indictment of the public education system. http://grammar.yourdictionary.com/p...ons/Ending-a-Sentence-with-a-Preposition.html As to my grades in in school, I did well but loathed the fact that school started in the fall and interfered with the archery deer season. Are you trying to tell me you didn’t see the humor in how I got Vito to do exactly as I wanted him to do (and soon you as well)? I thought the juxtaposition of using a topical discussion of the word sport and applying it to internet mockery was both humorous and entertaining. Perhaps highbrow humor and irony are not things you enjoy.
Seriously, chill out kids. Wiener and pissing contests to this extent won't be tolerated. Vacations can be granted and may be granted at will.
Here is a way to keep tabs on archery without having to arrange your life to catch what little of archery they will cover on TV or having to suffer through the tedious coverage. http://www.olympic.org/archery http://www2.teamusa.org/USA-Archery.aspx
Ya'll got a lil silly up there ^^^^^ Opening Ceremonies... meh.... wasnt all that exciting? I expected to see Elton John. I did catch the USA Mens Archery take silver today!!! Anybody ever go to the training facility near San Diego?
