    Hello Hunters,

I am new to the site and have done some reading, searches too!

I have, deep from the closet of goodies, a 1968 Bear recuve with bear spring attached quiver. lastly, 4 Bear broadheads dated from 1964 with the new die mold (still the loved, green color).

I am looking for a forum or area where I can see these type of items for sale.
Ebay has a Bow very similar but has nothing like the other items.

Are these common items, or collectibles?

    Thank you
    Jonathan

Welcome, Your Kodiak is one of the best looking recurves ever made, one of my all time favorites. We have a Traditional forum on here, but there is a site called Tradgang you might want to check out if your looking to sell or find out what the stuff is worth. The bow will go for 200 and Up

quite a nice site too. lots of vintage info, thank you for the site.

Seems the one I have is quite a nice one, with the quiver and tips to boot.

100 posts to list an item for sale is respectable. keeps the riff raff out for sure.

    Again thank you

    Jonathan

You could try Archery talk also. It's a large user base.

Your Super Kodiak will fetch at least $250...depending on cond. and weight....probably more than that actually. The aluminum and leather top quiver...easily $50+ if the rubber is good and the silkscreen Bear logo is good.Yours looks to be a 4-arrow short model. The greenies will get you around $3+/each. All of these items can be found but they're not all that common...there's alot of Bear collectors. The Super Kodiak was 1st introduced in 1967 mid year, so your's is an early model. I have a '72 Super Kodiak and it's one of my favorite recurves...and I have 20 of them

    Thank you all,

Yes the quiver is in Great shape with good standing bear letters and pat code.

    The #s on the Bow are 8z 1010 which I read was a 1968 but the z1010
I don't know if it's month and day or # produced that year.
AMO-60' #48 If correct is 60 inches long and the pounds of pull @ 28inches.
