I killed a doe and a buck in archery a month and a half ago. I can't wait to scout opening day of point and shoot. The line in walmart the day before rifle season is hilarious!
Deer will die in numbers on Monday. We got about a foot of snow and it is suppose to be nice on Monday. The orange army will be in full force. Even the stupid ones.
Conditions look favorable for the opener. Everyone stay safe out there. I won't be out (can't take a doe during the first week in our WMU), but I'm pulling for my dad.
Our muzzle loader season starts tomorrow so people will be everywhere!! There goes all the button bucks!! Too many guys shoot the first deer that comes in.
Man it's that way here also.. There was a guy hunting on some neighbors property during shotgun season that shot a buton buck.... Pissed me off.
Our bow season opens back up tomorrow. The orange army will be gone for the next couple of weeks. I've been keeping my eyes peeled, I only saw one big bruiser on the top of a truck at the early part of the season, other than that I've not seen much. I'm gonna let the deer settle for a week or so, and get back out there.
