My kids and I used to try to guess the date we would hear the peepers down in the swamp for the first time. Last night my daughter texted me and said hearing the peepers first time on April 22. I was at first a little emotional that she heard the peepers and thought of me, it warmed my heart just a little then I was pissed because April 22nd is the latest first peeper ever.
Yep Chorus Frogs. Once it warms up it is so loud when you go down by the pond, love that sound nothing better than watching the sun go down listening to the peepers and watching the deer.
