Has anyone converted the old model into newer model ? Adding new seat, batwing, etc?

Yep - I've upgraded all of my old Alphas to the newer seat and the batwing except one. Every time I hang it I am reminded how much better the bat wing is than the old V bracket and I curse myself for not changing it out yet.

It's a very simple process - just a few bolts to change out. Works like a charm.

Same here. Super easy to do. I've got two that I've done this with.

I still keep one of the the old small seat frames around though thinking that someday I'll use it for a super lightweight Assault build to use for run and gun hunts.

I was told the new seat wouldn’t fit the old I beam so I just modified the seat a little and Dremeled the off set bracket a little so it would fit. It’s in the backyard now![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
