I'm old but new to the site. Have lurked around and finally decided to join. Just now getting back into bow hunting. Last time I bow hunted they had just come out with a single cam bow. I'm now back in the game and trying to decide what kind of used bow I should buy?

    Thanks,

    Scott

Oh boy are you in for a surprise when you shoot the newer bows. Like anything try many before you buy, that may be a bit more difficult in the used market but you have to shoot before you buy.

Your telling me. Got a a surprise when I saw the price tags of these new bows! I have only been looking at used bows, and of course there are a ton of those out there. But I have looked at PSE, Quest, Martin, Pearson, and Darton, and a few others. Seems like every bow company has a great bow!

It's all preference. If you try a few you will like one more... Go with that one

Don't be afraid to check out some of the "budget" offerings.

Quest, Mission, Diamond are a few brands that use the slightly older tech from their parents companies.

Other companies simply offer lower priced options under the same brand name. Bear has several budget friendly options available and Elite just released the Enlist as their first lower priced model.

Buying used gets you last year's tech. Often times, buying from the budget end of a line up also gets you last year's tech plus a warranty.
