Old Broken Leg Wins one!

First saw this buck in Dec of 2010 as a three pointer. It was all he could do to walk and obviously had a broken leg and I didn't think he would make it through the winter. Well I've got videos of him every year since 2010 and amazed that he continues to live. In the second video he actually whoops another yearling buck!!!

Go ahead and throw **** at me, but he would never be shot by me.

 

Yippy for the underdog, but you should shoot him.

 

He still has a lot of heart! But, I would shoot him. I hate to see him like that.

 

He must be a tough dude.

That is a cool video. Don't know if I would shoot or not.

 

I would shoot any badly hobbled deer. I almost shot a yearling last year that had a bad limp. I held off because the shot wasn't the greatest. Never saw it again.

 

I take those kind of deer out.

 

I got a lot of respect for that deer because he obviously has a lot of determination and strength to make it this long. He seems to get along without that front leg just fine. Neat deer and awesome videos.

 

Part of me would want to put him out of his misery but it looks like he isn't that miserable.

 

Maybe an injury or birth defect. 3 legged deer like 3 legged dogs can do just fine. If you shot him I wouldn't blame you. Better yet, looks like a great deer for a youth hunter.

 

That buck seems to be doing fine. I would shoot him if his antlers were bigger but not just because of the messed up leg. On the other hand, I did shoot a button buck last year because he had a badly broken back leg. He was in bad shape.
