You sure? I hear there are some really neat ones over on the coast, out here?! You do that, and I will have about the same respect for you, as I do Chrysler Financial right now... I swear, none of those people know what they are doing... NONE! It's not their fault... It's not even their problem, but I can say that I am happy about Jeep... Just not that it went to a foreign country...
From what I saw, he gave a temp ban but like Christine says, simple solution. Hell I was banned from a Harley Davidson forum because I said the policy of having to have at least 10 posts to post pictures was dumb. Now that's heavy handed!
From what I read he's gone even crazier (forgove me Rob) but when he says he's tired of someone's "crap" I think he's a little out of line, and this comes from an old Marine.
Sheesh.... I miss all the fun. I don't know what you're talking about. I can't even take a couple days off without missing out on all the fun. I'm guessing maybe a Marine was involved. LOL Oh well, it'll all end up where it does.
I agree. I know it's not right to question the motives of a mod. But then again, when one single mod has an infamous tendency get "heavy handed" and actually drives people away from a site, that right there says a lot. Heck, I used to be a mod over on a duck hunting website ( http://www.refugeforums.com/refuge/index.php ) in the "Virginia Flyway Forum" about 6-7 years ago, but gave it up when I decided to take a break from waterfowling. Those duckhunters are nuts! Get up at 0-dark-thirty, go out in the howling wind, sleet, and snow, into a semi-frozen marsh and literally freeze your a$$ off. Been there, done that, almost got hypothermia a few times. But anyway... Moderating a website forum can be hard work and does take up some of your personal time. It's not for everyone. But then again, it can also be kind of fun and personal, as you get to know people a lot more and become more friendlier to others.
