I am actually considering trying one of the aluminum models, probably the CTS. Though I still love my Lone Wolf sitnclimb, the Ol Man might get a chance. Anybody else here tried any of the newer model Ol Mans?

Haven't tried a newer model, but I've had an ol man for years. I think it's a great stand.
IF you are looking at them, take a peek at the treewalker stands too. Similar but IMO just a tad nicer.

I love my Ol Man. I just bought a LW hand climber for my longer hikes, but if I know where I'm going and I am gonna be there awhile, I'll take the Ol Man over just about anything.
