    Hi people!

I am new to bowhunting and needs all the information i can get. I have a PSE Bow Madness XS. I am ok with form and all. I just need advice on what to do when i am out in the field. How to call, how to properly use a decoy, how to use attractants, all of that.

Feel free to add any bit of knowledge you might have

    Please and Thanks!!

My suggestion is this: Bowhunting.com has tons of great articles to read, and read through the forum to find topics that you are interested in. Then if you have a specific question, post a thread, I guarantee there is lots of help around. Also, maybe subscribe to a bowhunting magazine. In my opinion, learning is the best part of hunting. Good luck!

Welcome aboard man. You certainly found the right place. Good advice so far. I would also check out the video section. The Bow Hunt or Die videos are great and you can learn a lot from their success and their failures. The nice thing if they film and show both. Since we all know we will get skunked from time to time it's nice to see you're not alone. :tu:

Thanks for all the advice guys!!

I am always up for more things to learn my only problem is not learning them quick enough. I am going hunting this season with my girlfriend and her Grizzle Adams of step dad. I don't want to embarrass myself. I have a little knowledge but this will be my first deer season(I hit Dove and Duck last year)

The only advantage i have in this situation is my girl and her family are STRICTLY rifle hunters and have never touched a bow. I am letting the step dad use my starter Redhead Kronik and hopefully i get brownie points wil him when i teach HIM how to hunt. :tu:
