    What is the answer to this one (once again, use just your brain and knowledge): 6 plus 1 times 0 minus 5 divided by 5 = ???

    Yep. 7 times 0 is 0, minus 5 equals neg 5 and then divided by 5 leaves negative one

    Order of operations is multiplication and division then addition and subtraction. 6+(1x0)-(5/5)=??? or 6+0-1=5

    if you insert the formula into excel as =6+1*0-5/5 and hit enter, it will prove the correct answer.

    True, but typically when you're worried about order of operations you'll use parenthesis to organize your equation. Take most calculators and type in your original equation and you'll get -1, the exception being if you're using a scientific calculator or are working in programming code.

    I say -1 is the answer and I'm sticking to it. :D

    The rules of Math tell you PEMDAS (parenthesis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, subtract). You would multiply and divide first and then add and subtract. In math you do not simply do operations from left to right.
