Okay, so you witness a horrid act, what do you do???

This only brngs one thing to mind, a story i read a time ago. "Orville Smith, a store manager for Best Buy in Augusta , Georgia , told police he observed a male customer, later identified as Tyrone Jackson of Augusta , on surveillance cameras putting a laptop computer under his jacket... When confronted the man became irate, knocked down an employee, drew a knife and ran for the door. Outside on the sidewalk were four Marines collecting toys for the "Toys for Tots" program. Smith said the Marines stopped the man, but he stabbed one of the Marines, Cpl. Phillip Duggan, in the back; the injury did not appear to be severe. After Police and an ambulance arrived at the scene Cpl. Duggan was transported for treatment. The subject was also transported to the local hospital with two broken arms, a broken ankle, a broken leg, several missing teeth, possible broken ribs, multiple contusions, assorted lacerations, a broken nose and a broken jaw...injuries he sustained when he slipped and fell off of the curb after stabbing the Marine.

I'd gasp loudly. Because of the horrible scene and because I must also be in the wrong locker room.

I wouldn't attack the dude or attempt to detain him. (unless I had my maglite) I'd be doing my best to get the kid away from him and to a safe area for both of us.

 

I would detain him without any physical harm if possible. The last thing I need is to get sued by a Pedophile for hurting him. I am sure a judge and jury would do the right thing and once he was in jail for good then he would get his punishment

Listening to him get interviewed, Bob Costas was very graphic in one of his questions. He mentioned that guy that caught them distinctly heard a slap slap slap sound. That would be a instant trigger for me to grab him and bring him to an inch of his life. The thought of any consequences to my actions would not or even occurred to me until after I was done. Know him or not.

 

Like many others have said beat the devil out of him until the police arrived!

Primary Concern: Child's well being and safety.

I would want to get the kid out of harms way and if that means a physical altercation then that's what it would be. Certainly wouldn't focus all my attention on beating up a man until the police arrive while allowing the child to just sit there. Severe anger towards the man would, of course, be an immediate impulse but I wouldn't want to let that anger get in the way of the true issue: The kid's well being.

I would get it there and fight, fight, fight! But, though I'm an internet tough-guy I'm a bit insecure with so I'd ask him to put his clothes back on first. Then, though, it would be on!
