So let's pose this up, you're at the gym, and you're coming through the shower area and you see a 60-something year old man raping a little boy..... What are you gonna do???

I've got to see how many of us might respond the same way Mike McQueary did.

I had a dream last night that some dude molested one of my kids. The cops got him first. But, I told him he was lucky they did, because I would have beat the **** out of him and ripped his arm off and beat him with it until he was dead. Crazy dream.

In no way shape or form am I trying to defend this guy....

But your asking if we walked in and saw a random 60 year old man doing this... Mike McQueary knew this guy... I think it is a different situation when the person committing the act is a person you know...

Again I am not defending him... But my answer would be different if I knew the guy... In both cases I would stop the act... but after stopping the situation I am not sure what I would do in the case of knowing the guy.

Your right .... I wouldn't kill him like Dan ... I would use the same arm and beat him within an inch of his life ..... OK OK ... I would beat him with his torn off arm until he was unconscious and authorities arrive .... if they asked me how his arm came off, I would just tell them it fell off ...

Don't think it would be smart to piss off a bow hunter. These bows are deadly ashell and quite.

I think I'd beat him all that much worse if I knew him!!! That would make it worse, if it possibly could be, for it to be someone I knew. So far, 100% of the people polled would do something far more than what McQueary did, though, and I think the average person would have done more.

Point is, JoePA really shouldn't be getting dragged down by this, considering MOST people's response would have been something potentially violent, and assured that the guy left that building at a minimum in police custody, I can see where JoePA may have questioned what McQueary was telling him. At the same time, I think JoePA SHOULD have put McQueary in his car and drove him STRAIGHT to the State College Police Dept. when McQueary reported what he reported, which we really don't know what he reported since we can't believe a whole lot of what he's said to this point.

Again, just trying to wrap my head around what the hell really happened. There is no doubt that Sandusky was doing something wrong, the doubt is in what McQueary really said he saw, saw, or reported. I certainly hope the PA gets a MANDATORY REPORTING law, and get s it WELL ADVERTISED so that people who witness such acts and don't at a minimum notify the police can also be prosecuted. Too many people in our society with that "It's not my business, I'll just keep my nose out of it attitude."
