A porta potty and some toilet paper sounds like a fantastic way to spend my Saturday night sleeping. Instant pillow and sheets for my sloozing. Alright!

So when should I think about reserving a spot? It would be me and a buddy, maybe two buddies if the other wants to come

Fergy usually takes care of the campsites, I imagine its a little early yet to worry about that. Unless he has a triathalon or some race to do that weekend.

He doesn't seem too much into bow hunting since he lost all that weight.

Look here for the tech info. Basically, it's a chance to get together and meet all the awesome people here on the site. It's open to anyone on the site and your welcome to bring a friend. Some of us meet up earlier and camp nearby. Fri night is the annual Fergus Bonfire. Sat is just a day of friendly competition shooting of different events, from a 3-D course, long-distance shoot, clay shoot, etc. Teams are picked by drawing a number. That way every one gets to know the other members. Lunch and dinner is held at the club. Winners of the events are given various prizes and most importantly, bragging rights for the year. You also get various door prizes for coming. Of course there is the annual smack-talk posting that leads up to the GTG. Come on out, you won't be dissappointed!

Race, I think even my slow self can pull it off. I seriously might just show up with a sleeping bag, one change of clothes, and a towel after I bath in a pond. But for real, if things work out for me the way I think they will on the job front my July-December is going to be jam packed. I will need some time to let loose a bit and relax prior to that stuff kicking off. How far is the event from Chicago? 1 hour?

Let's see.... go shoot arrows with a bunch of internet criminals.... OR... continue on with the fishing in Northern Ontario? Hmmmmmmm.... Well ..... I've decided. As long as I'll have been there for a week I think I'll drive home from Ontario that day. Illinois is NOT on the way. LOL
