Jim Fergus, Todd & myself met today to discuss next yr's GTG. The date is the same as last yr, the last weekend in June, the 26th. Mark it down in your calendars, and plan your vacations. How bout you NorthEasterners make it down for this one. Next year's GTG promises to be bigger & better than last yr. in the future, there will be a list of prizes for each competition, including a team prize. If you have any suggestions for next yr's GTG, please foward them to me or Fergus. Those of you that went last yr, spread the word, and tell everyone what you thought. Next to deer season, it's the other vacation I look foward to. The shootoff were awesome, and the winners definitely put there money where their mouths were, when it came to walk the walk.
Jrvs, it's annual thing that got started 2 yrs ago. The idea was to actually get to meet people on this site at the hq of the website in Huntley Ill, acutally at Garden Prarie nearby at the hunt club. There is a day of archery contests, w/prizes awarded to the top shooter, raffles, food, you know a get together. Every yr it gets alittle biggger, you get to meet new people. It's a great time. Some of us go early & camp out at a nearby campground and you can't miss the annual Fergus Bonfire on Fri night. Many a story are developed that night. Take a look at the older files, I'll be posting some pics of the winners from last yr.

As usual I have already begun plans to take care of the campground for everyone. Once it gets closer I will give everyone the information that they need to get setup with a site. If you have never attended before you are in for a treat. Just like last year I will be arriving early. Most likely on Tuesday afternoon again unless a new job will interfere with that. And the friday night bonfire will most certainly be a party to remember. Right Sevenmag? LOL
I'll prolly be busy that weekend. Shooting fish or something. I'll make some effort to get up there tho'. To visit with my chronograph if nothing else.
Come by the campground and you can shoot all the fish you want!!! Pond on both sides of our sites are filled with big carp and catfish!

I can't wait......enough said My b-day is close, but not quite. Many good times were had last year, I can't wait to see some old friends and make some new ones.
Like we need someone to have a birthday to have a good time! Next year will be the 4th year I have hosted the bonfire! Going to be another great time! Hope we have more new guys like you two were last year!
