One of the primary jobs of a leader is create a vision for the organization [nation] and unite all around a common goal. This video does not include the whole organization [nation] in uniting around a common goal.

Pandering at its finest. It appears O'bama will stoop as low as he needs to in order to win the next election.

COULD you imagine a white presidential candidate announcing, "2012 White Americans for XXXXX". Sickening, plus he is half white, correct? Or am I misinformed? And for the record, I could care absolutely a person's racial/ethnic background and think those "facts" should be erased from all political statistics and studies.

Were any of Obama's relatives slaves? Didn't his father come from Kenya or something? So O'bama did not have any ancestors that suffered through anything here in the U.S., right?

Great marketing, as was the plan. People talk, post, etc. and it gets bumped up on search engines and on YouTube.

Guy who hate it, talk about and, indirectly, promote it.

In the world of social media sometimes the best retaliation to that which angers you is, dare i say it, silence!

And if the race baiting wasn't enough he was sure to toss in the class envy rhetoric... ...some people dont pay their fair share...yadda yadda, that argument gets tiring...more so this time of year when we are filing tax returns.

So your response to that absolutely pathetic, pandering video, is that it was "great marketing". So you vote for a President that is willing to do crap like in that video?

Past all the fox bs lines here, please someone answer this question for me.

From after WWII to late 1970's every class income grew at about the same rate. Towards the end lower income even out paced upper by a bit. Since the late 70's until present day middle income as decreased and the top 1/10th of 1% has outpaced everyone by a lot.

What the heck has happen? Why is it a person who makes 21 million pays 14% tax on investments and my boss who owns his company pays 28% on 17 million.

Take all your bias out and please someone tell me how the above is fair.

Germ, as far as fairness, it isn't. Evidently, someone's accountant found a loophole or two. I still say there should be a flat tax without deductions or anything else. You make 10 Mil, 1.7 Mil is taxes. It would put a lot of IRS employees out of work, but in the long run, would put more money in the government coffers for politicians to overspend.

What bothers me about the Obama video is if a caucasion candidate said those same types of comments, the media would have been all over him in no time flat and he would have a racist label hung on him. Yet, the media has not given Obama the racist label or even called him out on this.

Nothing about the tax code is "Fair", if you wanted fairness you could argue for a flat tax however we all know it would be too regressive for politicians to politically hang their hats on. Can the tax code be fairer? Of course it can, but there will be a lot of unhappy people on the bottom also that maybe joining the ranks of becoming a tax payer (via income tax) for the first time in their life.

Irregardless of the unfairness many tax payers are sick hearing that they are not paying enough, or that others are not paying enough all under the pretense that we are going to give it away. Give it away to whom? I will tell you to whom..the voting block that a video like this panders too, people that some how think by the government taking even more from others it will somehow help their lot in life.

Unfortunately, I think some people voted for Obama specifically because of his race. Some recent quotes from Samuel L. Jackson confirm that:

"I voted for Barack because he was black. Cuz that's why other folks vote for other people—because they look like them."

That's American politics, pure and simple. [Obama's] message didn’t mean [bleep] to me. In the end, he’s a politician. I just hoped he would do some of what he said he was gonna do. I know politicians say [bleep]; they lie. 'cuz they want to get elected."

"When it comes down to it, they wouldn’t have elected a [bleep]. Because, what’s a [bleep]? A [bleep] is scary. Obama ain't scary at all. [Bleeps] don’t have beers at the White House. [Bleeps] don’t let some white dude, while you in the middle of a speech, call [him] a liar. A [bleep] would have stopped the meeting right there and said, 'Who the [bleep] said that?'"

"I hope Obama gets scary in the next four years, 'cuz he ain’t gotta worry about getting re-elected.."

I can't blame him either, he's just being honest about how a lot of people, including himself vote. He wouldn't be the first president to get picked on his looks, his connections or perceived family values. Imagine choosing to elect a man you've never seen. Or at least who you've only met in print. It is often said that Abraham Lincoln never would have been elected if you had been able to see him or hear him speak.

I'm a little more disenchanted about the whole process then some. Politicians come in to power by being supported by money and clout. The average man has neither of these. There are a myriad of other issues that are involved in the whole process that just make it worse. For me, local politics, those in your town or county are the only place where an individual can really have any effect any more.

I agree, but what are you going to do about those who don't pay the flat tax?

Not just the tax code that is not fair, our government has passed laws to help the few. I have been reading past presidential quotes and I am amazed how many feared our banking systems.

Are corporate welfare policies just as bad as welfare for lower class.

We just extended the bush tax cuts without paying for them again, how many times are we going to allow the same polices that put us in the hole to pass?

Germ, you're preaching to the choir here. Politicians quit representing their constituents a long time ago and now only seek how rich the PAC's and lobbyists can make them.
