Just another entry in the long line of remakes Hollywood's been spewing out lately. I think they're out of ideas. Most are about a comic book superhero, 30 year-old sitcom, or classic movie being remade with a different actor.
Blake Shelton is remaking the song "Footloose" for this movie. I tell ya, if they remake Goonies I'm marching on Washington!
That couldn't really happen, could it? No, I mean its not possible. Is it? I don't even like the thought of that. Well, now you've ruined my day. Thanks a lot.
I wasn't impressed with the original Footloose and now Hollywood is giving me a chance to be twice as unimpressed with the remake. But, I have a surprise for them, the last movie I went and saw was The Green Mile, so there's no chance at all of me going to see this! hahaha
Josh, are you serious about a Red Dawn remake? Oh man. Conan is also being remade along with Footloose.....SUCK Germ, I have another example of why the world is going to end soon. I went food shopping tonight and thought about getting some cheap old fishsticks for some man food while the family is out of town. The dang price of the fishsticks had doubled! I thought they were alway supposed to be like $1.99 for like 345 fishsticks. Expensive fishsticks + A Footloose remake= Earth ending in T-Minus 10, 9, 8.......
I thought I heard on the radio not long ago... they are remaking Dirty Dancing also. Any truth to that ?? And if there is... why ??? The Conan the Barbarian remake looks to be pretty good from what I seen. I tried watching the old one a month or so ago on TV. I couldn't do it. My God it didn't take much to impress us back when it first came out in the 80's. I liked the first one back then but hated second one... Conan the Destroyer. Tim
