I probably have before but my lands, its hard to tell on a slick head. Story goes,,2 years ago I was on a lease I mainly used for Bowfishing and water fouling. I was going down the rutted semi gravel dirt road when a Fawn stepped out in front of me. Her right ear was laying straight down on the side of her head and the other was upright but the tip bent over. She was the ugliest Deer I had ever seen and was skinny as a rail. I told myself she would never make it, I mean she looked BAD. I let that lease go but picked it back up this year. This evening I drove out there for the first time this year, braving the heat and looking for a fish to shoot. I was just about to turn down the lane when >>>BAM<<< there stood Lamie just 20 yards off the road. Ear laid on the side of her head and the other with bent tip. BUT she now was healty and all grown up. I have a new target im after . Just thought it was cool story to share. Justin, your not the only one who has broken eared Deer :D If you all remember the Buck called Dope ear in one of the Bowhunt or Die episodes.
Does Mrs. Crick know of your new obsession with this doe? She might be a wee bit jealous. Might wanna watch your back.
dawg,,,yep its the same ear, the right side! jmbuckhunter,,what happens on the lease, stays on the lease, if it wasnt for that ear,dam she would be Hot I was backing up with my camera to get a pic but she dived in the brush before I could get the shot
...group of does, bedded down in cover. One doe says to the others, "you'll never guess who I saw today..." "... Big Fingers!" >>>BAM<<< :D
