Usually this time of year im not yet really itching for the season yet, because the 90-100 degree days and the midwest humidity just dont let me have the feel for it this early. BUT MAN these high 50-60 dergee mornings and 70-80 degree days have really got to me this week. :busted: I want October to get here BAD!! uncanny July weather indeed. I even got the bow out today for the first time since the G2G  Shes shootin good  anyone else got bit by the cooler weather yet??

We set a record low in my area today of 59. It only got up to 82 and it was awesome! It's normally 70 lows and upper 90s this time of year. It is a welcomed change! How about that Global Warming?

I hear ya... I'm not sure what I would do if the highs weren't in the 90's or 100's on October 1st... I've never ever seen that in Texas or Oklahoma.

I am loving this unusually cool summer. Damn that global warming!

What’s really triggered my itch is the big buck (and at least 5 other different bucks) in my yard this year. Haven’t seen anything like this in the 8 years I’ve lived here.

Then there’s every time I turn on the hunting channel and they are chasing elk…so that’s really gotten me over the edge. I’m reading books, watching DVD’s (both entertainment & educational) and practicing my calling. I will be ready for September!

I'm loving the cool nights this summer. I love having the summer off as a teacher, but I can only go so long until I want cool crisp fall weather here. I like fall weather more than any other.

Dan, we had upper 60's here a couple of days ago, and the bean field across the road had 5 bucks runnin' all over it from around mid day, on. Yes sir, I'm feeling the itch bad this year!
