Figured for broadcast with incorporation, would be a little less if drilled
Rated a 9.4/10 for supplemental grazing
Rated an 8.8/10 for increasing soil organic matter
Rated a 5.1/10 for Nitrogen fixation

Should cost no more than: $1.41/pound, $89.44/acre, total actual cost $44.72 bagged and inoculated.

You're welcome. Greencoverseed.com has a handy calculator but you have to make an account and sign in to use it I think so figured it was faster and easier just to do it, haha. That's their price, not including shipping. If you can get it locally, might save a $ or 2 even if the seed is a little higher due to shipping.

No problem, yeah it's a great tool and the folks at that company are great folks to work with. Of all the seed companies I've used over the years, they are far and away the most accommodating I've dealt with. I'm not affiliated with them other than buying seed from them (just to make that clear) I just like to promote a good company when I find one. Hummert seed in St. Joseph MO is another one but you need to be on their commercial producers list to get the better pricing.

Yes, I have. They were pretty good to work with as well though much of what I wanted they had to order in and I had to arrange pick up.

Creeks, I don't think they do...I had to call them and Mike was kind of hard to catch in but he was always good to return my calls.

Creeks, I don't believe they do. I don't think they even have a website. I'm sure I don't get near as much seed as Covey does. If I call them to let them know what I need they'll have it within just a few days. If you deal with them I could go get it and ship it to you. Just let me know.
Covey's right about them calling back. They are a family business and great to deal with.

    25% Grain Rye i'd use 12 lbs
    25% Whitetail Oats i'd use 12 lbs
    15% Frostmaster Peas i'd use 8 lbs
10% Dixie Crimson Clover i'd use 2 lbs
10% Apache Arrowleaf Clover i'd use 2 lbs
5% Big Bee Berseem Clover i'd use 1 lb
    5% Daikon Radishes i'd use 1 lb
    5% Sugar Beets i'd use 1 lb

sugar beets are the most finicky thing one can plant and they don't do well with aggressive forages as companion crops. A mix like this with super fast growing forages with the slow growing sugar beets almost always will result in poor growth everywhere but the field edges where the larger sugar beet seeds will get thrown to the outside of the strip. Sugar beets should only be used with less aggressive, slow growing forages. I'd prefer people to use rutabagas or swedes with a mix like this.

I could always use purple top turnips, only thing about them is they don't hit them well until January/February....AFTER SEASON IS OVER....

You could get the sugar beet seed separately and seed a section of the plot in just sugar beets.
