OK Map Guys...

    So i'm just getting into mapping out deer and having some issues. Here is a nice peice of land I just found with some great potentional IMO. We will basically be hunting from the N-S road to the east all the way to the base of the mountain, which is about equal with the "A" in Kanisksu. There are some small fields to the north that the deer feed in and head south in the mornings.

    Does anything obvious jump out to you guys? I'm stumped with this one..

    Just going by the maps, I like the wooded area just to the right of the word Elmira. Looks to be a good pinch point, but I'd give a good looking over on foot before I hunted. I rarely hunt a place by maps alone. I like to wear out a pair of boots on a property brfore I hunt it.

    Thats a spot I was thinking about. I will be going out on saturday to do some more looking and take some notes

    You have 2 saddles that I have encircled in yellow and a north south line at the base of the mountains that is the lowest elevation on the map. Like JMBuckhunter states, you need to get in and check it out, but I would check out the saddles and that north-south path of lowest elevation for starters.
