you don't have trust in bowtech anymore? I'm messin with ya! I wouldn't know the answer too that, but I'm still shooting my 'HOYT' BABY!!!
Because you are coming to your senses and now considering how the bow performs rather than only looking at the brand name. I don't understand people that get stuck on a bow manufacture and only will buy that particular brand. Why limit yourself so much? I give you credit for branching out a little bit.
Because there are quality bows in different brands and you shortchange yourself if you don't consider them.
Exactly! The right bow for you is the one that feels and shoots right for you. Not your buddies. When I go shopping for a bow again I'd like to start all over if you will and just shoot all brands across the board. (single and dual cam) If every archer and bowhunter did that, I think we would all be shooting better than ever. With so many companies all producing quality products, let's give them a chance. Who knows that dream bow we've been looking for might just be a draw away.
Probably because it's a hell of a bow. I've learned a long time ago that brand loyalty is silly. I shoot what I like. With the Z7 there's a lot to like. BTW, I don't own a Z7, I just appreciate a good bow.
That Z7 looks and sounds sweet from the ads I"ve seen. But $895 ???? Them days are over for me. . , , , , , , , , ,I think
Elite Mathews Athens Quest Hoyt Bear Bowtech Strothers Diamond PSE Full Force Parker Limbsaver The options are endless.
Most Mathews dealers in my neck of the woods are charging within $30 of the MSRP. I am not the one that buys a new bow every year. When I do, I make sure I save enough where my budget doesn't have to dictate performance. Say for example you put $75 in savings every month over a 2 or 3 year period, by that time anybody would have more than enough for a fully outfitted bow with quality accessories too.
For a smoother draw cycle? I know I can't stand drawing my friend's speed bows anymore after owning a DXT, and now my Elite Z28's even make that feel harsh.
Sounds plausible. And, it's always a bonus when you find out Mr. McPherson doesn't have Hitler youths sniping your thought process.
indeed there are alot of nice bows. I was one who started off with a martin then got sold a hoyt viper from a buddy. Now have a hoyt viper tech 04'. I think at the time I was either going to go with a mattews or hoyt, but this model for hoyt was shorter limb to limb 32", and It felt better too me, so like stated before it is a good idea to get your paws on several makers bows and get a good feel for what best suites you!
If you are branching out and trying the z7 I would test out a few others. Me being a bowtech/diamond guy myself, the strother, elite and APA bows are catching my eye. I just am keeping myself away from trying one until I know I can buy one. I'm too much of a impulse shopper
