I went through this same thing with my elite 32 and my destroyer 350. I hope to get it right so i can hunt Friday afternoon. A lot of it could just be mental as well. For the first week or so I had the bow I couldn't miss. Bad habits can develop with mental and physical fatigue.
You may need to check everything again. Factory strings and cables stretch and settle after the first 150 shots. May have threw your bow out of tune. Just curios of where are you anchoring to?
everything is in spec..Brace and ATA. I anchor with my kisser in corner of mouth, string on the tip of nose. release hand well that may be the issue...
My advice is stop trying to watch your arrow. That is more than likely your issue. Follow through is important to solid consistent shooting.
I think this is more a question of tuning your rest and less about anchor point. But make sure your string makes as little contact with your cheek/face as possible prior to release. Don't overthink this. Personally I believe this is a tuning issue.
could be. I didn't go into great tuning detail. I shot it through paper with Beman 340's cut 27" pulling 70# and never got bullet holes. Switched to the 400's same length and bam, bullet holes appeared. I stuck a fp and a muzzy 3 blade on the arrow and shot them perfectly together out to 30 yards and called it a day.
I have my release adjusted so that when its laying in my palm the trigger is at the third joint (the one closest to my palm) in my first finger. At full draw it comes down to just behind the first joint.(the one closest to the tip of my finger).
As far as the orginal question.I would guess it either fatigue or peeking.Try to keep your pin on the bullseye for about 2 seconds after you shoot. If you want too you could try some blind baling to help with the form issue,if there is one.
shooting went much better today. Not perfect, but it is certainly a form issue. I shot it through paper and it was perfect. I changed a few things with my hand position and release position and it worked much better.
