I'm new to bow hunting and I know already I LOVE IT! My question is...I step off 20yds on level ground at my hunting spot and put six arrows in the bulls eye with in a few inches of each other. I step of the same 20yds in my back yard at the house. Mind you my yard has a slope to it. With in the 20yrds it drops of a foot maybe. Well my shots or 12" high???? What am I doing wrong? Keep this in mind...I took every precaution not to bump my sights in anyway...
I figured it out. I was bending my wrist to get the sights on target...wrong! I bent my whole upper body at the waist. bingo... rooky mistake...lol its all good now.
Hey, I'm pretty new too. I found I tend to tork my wrist a lil when i shoot. Also i shoot a lot better if i keep my arm that i hold the bow with completely straight. Sometimes i bend it at the elbow. I also shoot ANYTHING better with both eyes open. Even rifles. I looks down the peep sight with my right eye and look at the whole picture with the other. its like i see the arrow during flight land where i aim.
