I've got $10 that says you hate this.......if you use it for a same-day setup.

Why is that? Don't discourage the man before he gets to use it. :bash: I plan on using mine for same day setups this year as well. It does have its advantages/disadvantages though but I feel the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

Tony....glad to see you found one! AND its made here in the good ole USA to boot!

Jeff .... please tell me why you feel that way

Donny .... First thing I looked for was the "made in the USA" deal ... lol.. thought of you immediately

Shed Head ... it's lightness was the first thing I noticed when I picked it up .... then upon further inspection ... it is simply ...AWESOME!!! :)

One of my BH.COM Sensai's mentioned buying some screw in steps and puting them in, making it easier for the spots that are already planned ... I like that idea ... I still would like the steps for when I am shooting from the hip (set location)

It could just be me, T. I had the setup in '07. I used it twice, I think.

I hope you love it. LOTS of people do.

I like mine.A linemans belt is a must when putting the sticks on the tree and it might take a few more minutes to put up than a climber.BUT,you will not be limited in tree selection.I am much more comfortable and secure in the hang on over climbers.

I do take a seat pad with me.It has a back rest and makes my sits in any stand MUCH more comfortable.

What I like most is the ability to get into V's and tight spots to hide your setup and you from the deer.

I love mine...but then again I hated my climber. Depends on individual preference I guess.

I used this set up for the first time this past weekend. I loved it. I wasn't as efficient as I wanted to be, but I will get there.

LBG, if you have a split-limb bow you need to get the "Wolf Jaws" adapter to hold your bow in the built in holder.

I love mine, got an Alpha and an Assault. My son and I both climb and sit at 90 degree's can't wait to hunt from a stand with my son. We have been practicing and have it down, not much more work then just me doing it.

It took me 4-5 times to get a routine down, but I am up and in the seat under 10 mins, quietly. VA shadow can attest that I can hang it and he never heard me get in.

Good Luck. You will enjoy it.

I have the LW climbers and hang-on. If I don't have a tree picked out, I like to take in the climber. If I know the tree and it is full of branches, I break out the hang-on. I love them both however, wish I got the assault. In the Poconos, I hike back almost 2 miles. Every pound makes a difference. 3 pounds is a lot over the long haul.

It was not expensive, maybe $15 or so. I had to have it for my bow to fit properly in the holder.
