You have to be secure in your manhood to post here .... here goes .... Pride and Prejudice Don't hate me ... :p I love watching that movie with my girls ... :D "I la ..la... Love you...."
The Notebook, while watching it I got my first..............nevermind Now I'm going to go workout and maybe kill or build something
Prime Love Actually 500 Days of Summer The Shopgirl And I'm going to piss some off here, but... Wedding Crashers
Hmmm.... about anything with Reese Witherspoon in it... like Legally Blonde I think I could put The Princess Bride in this thread, too Problem is, there's a few I've enjoyed but I can't remember their names. I must do the same thing Jim does up above ... watch them, and then put them out of my mind, LOL
The Princess Bride That is actually a good movie. "Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, true love, miracles"
I'm not sure the Princess Bride classifies as a chick movie only because the way Rob Riener (spelling?) directed the movie. I'd say it's a romantic comedy at best. Flat out I say that movie is hilarious. The book however is actually very well written (one of my favorites). I'd have to agree w/ Jeff, Phenomenon is a great movie, but I'm not sure that's a chick flick either. I'd have to say Sleepless in Seattle is my favorite. Maybe You've Got Mail.
Everyone who has posted in here, or who will post in the future must turn in their man card. With that being said...I will turn mine in because that's all we (the wife and I) ever seem to watch anymore Although we were watching 10,000BC for a second time the other night oddly enough.
Define "chick flick", If "Wedding Crashers" counts then just about every comedy out there with a hint of romantic story line has to count. In which case, that accounts for about 80% of my viewing. To me a chick flick is a sappy romance drama, that may or may not have a little comedy in it. Or a drama with a story line that no guy would ever really care about. (or at least admit to it) I wouldn't really say these movies are "favorites" because they are just too sad, but they are good movies for "chick flicks" (some have already been mentioned) Steel Magnolias Untamed Heart Sweet November The Notebook Beaches Phenomenon
Ryan ...you get the meaning perfectly Wedding Crashers doesnt count ..... some of these movies make me wonder :D I wonder how many got teary eyed :D
