... but it's really about an out of TV land experience. I don't pay for HBO. I'm so glad I don't. Here's the deal. Through some weird technical glitz.... I get HBO on one of the TV's in my house IF I try to tune to this channel on my special super duper TV land access all the TV world... it won't let me. If I go to my computer room and try to dial up HBO... not such luck. If on the other hand I go to my bedroom where i have no special box and dial up said channel... Holy cow batman.... we have HBO. I just can't TIVO or record or go back or start over or pause and all that... but I have HBO. I can watch movies, talk shows, nasty dirty adult stuff etc etc etc without paying. I'm so glad I didn't have the urge to pay for this crap. Most of it is crap. How many nights a week do you want to watch left wing Bill Meyer? How many times a month do you want to watch AVATAR any one of a half dozen movies.... because that's what you get. The same stuff, out dated, over and over and over and over and over...... AND OVER AGAIN. God I love free trial crap they don't know I"m getting. I suspect that within a short time.... some techie is going to be trying to figure out how this is happening. LOL I'm sure it's a software glitz somewhere in their system they knew nothing about. Please TV land magicians... find a way to take away these repeats of older than dirt movies. Someone find something for Bill Meyer to do other than knock anyone right of outrageous left.
I'm not into make believe characters who live so they can beat up on someone with a more gentle disposition. I've seen there original series and find them of little value. Boardwalk??? Nah... it's fake stuff. I'd rather watch paint dry.
Sometimes people ask me if I have seen some show or other. When I tell them we don't have cable, it's like they don't believe me or can't believe that someone would actually not have cable. May The Sheep Be With You
I'm like David, I used to have HBO, Cinemax and showtime thru my cable company, but it seemed that they just kept on showing the same junk all the time for weeks on end..... I finally decided I had enought and called them and cancelled all the premium channels !! WOW, did I get a surprise ! They were almost willing to give me most of it for free just to keep it on my bill ! I politely refused and I have never looked back. I have many other things to do than sit in front of the boob tube and watch the same thing 42 times.
