It should be good tomorrow for sure. I'm getting bucks working scrapes on cam here. Big bucks checking them in the AM late. Good luck!

Got out a little later than I wanted and of course in way to stand don't notice four in the open field until I'm halfway to my stand. I tried to play it cool once I saw em but they saw me same time and booked. Since I'm here I'm gonna sit it out anyway but doubt anything will be back after that.

At least I came home with this pic from my cam. Wasn't expecting that and makes me even more pumped to get back out there. Hopefully rut brings him out during the day!

Nope. I had to leave little after 9 so decided to see if I could find their bed now that I have better idea where it's at. As luck would have I find myself 15 yards in a stare down with a doe the size of my Great Dane. She just hangs out and circles around me then come about ten yards from me lol. Then a 6 ir 8 point buck comes screaming across field at her but sees me about 60 yards from me. I'm still just standing there hoping he will come In like the doe but nope. They both bolt and run right in front of where my stand is lol. Oh well. I got better look at the ten poit and he's a monster. Hope to get him. It was an interesting day for sure

Been out all day and havent seen any rut activity. Are things already cooling down? Or has the full moon had them moving all night? I still have all week off and I still have another property but as of now its not looking great.

Was it windy there today like it was here? Or maybe the warmer temp today. Idk but it's def not stopped already. I had so much activity Friday and Sunday and going out Wednesday morning. Have heard good reports from my buddies too. Could be just bad luck right now who knows. You could go out tomorrow and be complete opposite.

Well about 10 mins after my post I ended up seeing 3 young bucks. At different times. And then got a nice look at a shooter 8. All seemed to be curious about the scents but im not sure ita going on heavy in my area. Maybe this mid week cold front will kick it off.

See just hang in there. I always say deer are about 5 or 10% at most predictable. You never know what's gonna happen. If we did, we would all have man caves full of racks
