my opening day was not so good. Went out to first spot on public land, dark 6 a.m. and 2 cars are pulled into my spot, guys getting gear on. I was so ******, so i flew down the road to my grandparents land, grab my climber only to find i didnt have my flashlight, couldnt find the stand, and by that time it was prime out. sun was coming up. However, the afternoon hunt went well. Saw some deer from a distance, and doe that came 25 yards from my stand, but i couldnt get a shot on her, do much brush. That was yesterday, today sunday, went out this afternoon, got blanked. Went with a buddy to a new woods he hunts. Wasnt really prepared because i didnt no the woods well, wind really wasnt in my favor at times. I gotta get my act together..ha
