I haven't been able to get out as much as I would like to either. My buddy did a shot at a buck he had on his trail cam but got off a bad shot n never been able to find em. = / and I've only seen a few does in preble and adams county

Ive hunted only Medina county so far. A few of the cold days last week saw the bucks cruising with there noses down, but no chasing. I had a couple people tell me they were chasing tonight, but i wasn't in the stand.

I had three fat does come in at last light today, last one busted me when i stood up, but came right back.
    Let me know three things
the first doe was deff mature, and the other two were really large. Does are still kickin in groups.
They didnt spook far, and came in into my wind, so my scent control must kinda be working
and nthing was following them, nor did they look hurried, so I am thinking that the chase Phase is maybe just starting if that

Had a fresh brand new scrape on my way in, also a positve thing

Oh and I have had a slow few weeks, Killed one on the second day of the season, let a few walk since then. But nothing for a little while. So it was good to see deer.

I've been in the woods a lot the past month and a half, and the past week has been the best.

Mornings have been great, had a mature buck at 15 but too thick to shoot and never entered the shooting lane.

Passed on a lot of smaller bucks, just waiting for the bruiser to come walking in soon. :o
