I know there are a couple guys here who were acquainted w/ Chris, he died suddenly April 10th, very unexpectedly. 42 years young, and a truly nice guy and great advocate for archery, bowhunting, and sportsmen and women in general. On May 29th, the Central Ohio Coonhunters Association is having a Benefit Bow shoot to help his family out with funeral and burial costs. Chris was a TOP LEVEL archer, but even a better person by most accounts.....

I will contact my crew and try to put a package together to donate, maybe some dvds, clothes, and possible an athens bow. I understand what it takes to make arrangements like this and my deepest reguards go out to his family. I will personally do all i can to help!

Should be a large attendance to this shoot, and hopefully a fair chunk of change raised for the family to offset their costs of giving him a proper funeral and burial.

Bringin' this back to the top.... Great cause and a great time to be had. There are lots of great items to be raffled off as well. At least a few thousand $$$ worth of items, including a bow, arrows, releases, a hunt, a weekend cabin get-away, etc.
