    Could be worse... I'll have missed two openers in a row.

    Last year, was on call so missed first weekend. Was supposed to be my first year of hunting. On 9/22, someone hits me head on, killing any chances of my hunting as I couldn't draw the bow back until mid November. At that, couldn't drag anything either.

    This year, I'm out of town for a once in a lifetime event on opening weekend then I come back and am on call until end of September.


    Tell your wife to put some face paint on, a tail and go chase her around the B&B. ;)

    The opener is no big deal to me. Now missing the 1st weekend in November would be a whole different story....
