Well...last night having been sick for a couple days I wanted to make sure all my batteries were charged on the cams. Get the G20 charging...go to grab my Handycam I use as 2nd angle and cannot locate it....

.....then it hit me, I NEVER unscrewed it and put it in my pack Monday evening....and it has rained a couple times since.

Here's to hoping some miracle and a days on rice will help it power up eventually once I am able to get it and dry it. LOL!

Older handycam from like 2010 but still....

Just wait Ty it gets worse as far as forgetting stuff. I forgot to grab my seat cushion the other day first hunt of the year I don't need a cushion. Instead of water boarding the cia should put subjects up in a ladder stand with no cushion and make them sit still as possible for 3 hours, I would have confessed all my sins to get out of that stand if I was forced to stay another minute.

I still cannot believe it...I did have deer all around me for nearly 40 mins after dark...couldn't move to tear down. Bet I rushed when I finally could and just flat blanked. Sucks big time.

Ouch!!!!! Left a range finder one year and didn't hunt the stand for a couple weeks. Had ice inside it. Took it apart, and let it all dry out and it still worked.

Yup....not gonna attempt a power up until at least 2 or 3 weeks in a bag of rice....never know. Probably unscrew anything I can after the rice to see if moisture still inside and such.

In the end I've actually been considering adding a small second angle camera that has infrared night vision recording anyways...be great for those low light times for post hunt discussions or even recordings. Entrance/Exits in the morning before sunrise...couple really affordable options for a lower budget second angle cam in the "handycam" families.

I’m very bad at also forgetting things. Just happens.
