Interesting story time. I get a call at 6:45 this morning. My wife is a little upset because an oncoming vehicle side swiped her a bit. She was driving down a two lane road and a white van was coming from the opposite direction and right as it passed her she heard a thump and the car shuddered a little. So I have to run out to her work and give her the current insurance card (whoops) and wanted to see what the cop said as well. While hes taking down her information and filling out the report she asks me if I dropped the deer I shot off at the processors yet. The cop looked up and said he was an avid bowhunter as well and we chatted it up about that for a bit. Up to this point neither the cop nor I have seen the vehicle yet so he wants to go outside to take pictures for the file and so they have the color of the paint if the other vehicle was found. As we get out there the cop and I both lean down to check the dent on the drivers side rear corner panel. I noticed something around the dent and the cop did too. I saw out of the corner of my eye the cop turn and look at me and smile, at which point I started to chuckle too. There was deer hair caught all in the wheel well and near the dent. Its still dark at 6:30 here and apparently she heard a deer run into the side of her car and looked in the rear view mirror and saw the van pass her, so she just aassumed it was the van because she never saw anything else. She also thought the hair was fiberglass fibers. Silly silly girl lol, the three of us had a pretty good chuckle standing at her car.
