I just wet myself. Almost. I am unfamiliar with deer sounds. I'm out in my blind and I hear some loud blowing. Kinda like if you were to blow throught your nose but 100x's louder. Then I looked up an saw a white tail jumping away. Was that a buck sound? I'm in the thumb of MI kinda sure there aint no beers!?!?!? Any good books or dvd's I should watch. Cuz this is a rush and I haven't even pulled my bow back yet!!!!!!!!!!

It could have been either a buck or a doe. Chances are you were winded or busted somehow.

Welcome to bowhunting! Just keep on going at it and learn as you go.

It's an alarm call that all deer can make, though while does and young bucks blow to alarm other deer, mature bucks will often just slip away without a sound.
