Not a good sign for a barn cat, hopefully he shows back up.

Had an indoor/outdoor tom that disappeared when I was a kid and showed back up a few weeks later.

Doesn't always happen, but hope it does for you.

Since the team 3 dynasty is now over. I guess I'll be added to a new team. I would assume after two ridiculous seasons. I'm due for a dud lol.

It wasn't a monster. It was a nice 10 point down at my friend's ranch in Texas. We go there for our annual hunt. It supplies me a annual Fergie and a ton of meat for the year. Texas doesn't have the size we have up in Canada. Unless of course you go to those mutant fenced farms. But it has warmer weather and a crap load of deer. We go down there and shoot 3-4 deer per guy in a week. It's a blast. But the cool story about that deer was it was by far the biggest buck we have ever taken on that property in about 10 years. He only scored 125 and change. But he had two broken tines and both brows broken. He could have scored 140ish easy.

    Then 2017 and 2018..... I won't remind you lol

I'm reminded everytime you post

Regardless of team, good luck this year. Being in Canada I'm sure you'll have a few to focus on.

Agree 100%!! I've been fortunate the past few years to be on active teams.

I wouldn't be opposed to the addition of a squirrel sub-category. Never tried hunting them with a bow but it's never too late to learn a new skill.

Lets hope that people can count to TWO this year. As in, 2 photos with the deer, AND bow. It so easy. Also, hope everyone uses a standard tape measure this year in inches, not centimeters. Also, spread credit is the INSIDE of main beams. Outside measurement is only for show.

Last year we had a lot of folks that really struggled with following some very remedial rules and then whined about it.

    End of rant....

I swear.....every year but last year may have arguably been one of the worst.

    2 pictures or nope.
If when done scoring your deer you're shocked chances are you made a mistake...also if you see a clearly bigger deer posted with a smaller score, chances are you made a mistake...also if you only scored it once and quick, chances are you made a mistake. Scoring is easy peasy and the mistakes that happen I swear sometimes are so clear they have to be intentional.

    Okay rant done...

Agree with tynimiller. I have been on teams in the past where no one is active. And it literally is the worst. No point in even participating at that point.

And the 2 picture rule I don't get why it's so hard. And what makes me more crazy. Is when the cry about it after. And act like they are being cheated when the scores don't count. As if it's some sort of conspiracy.

As per the "mistakes" in scores. It should be in the rules to send your score and buck to your team first. Let them review it with you. If it looks good to your captain and team. Go ahead and post it on the scoreboard. This way any mistakes can be caught by the 10 or so people on your team before hand.
