    Ok, we're officially opening the contest up for submissions for the month of January (read all of the rules and information here).

    We will leave this thread open until January 24th at midnight.

    One entry per member only. We encourage you to include a caption and camera information with your posts, but it's not required.


    January. A brand new start. For many hunters, it marks the start of preparation for the 2015 season. For some, it's still a continuation from 2014 as the hardy few brave the unpredictable and often harsh weather in pursuit of filling that last tag. It's a month, for many in the northern continental U.S. marked with single digit temps and cabin fever :D

    This month's theme is Winter Pictures. Since not all of us live in areas with snow, I'll just reserve this contest to photos taken (according to timestamp on photos) in the winter months (December-March). Snow pictures are encouraged if you have them, but not necessary. ALL ANIMALS are accepted.

    We don't get snow for at least another month. So this is the best we can do. It's getting cold enough for frost and the frost is sweetening up the brassicas. Caught this guy sneaking into the plot to regain his health from chasing the ladies around all November.

    Wont be able to check my cameras until the very end of the month. But I like this one, its not perfect but its pretty. And a decent buck even though is rack blends in a bit to much.
